Geremus - Trio

The three musicians have founded a Jazz collective, working without percussion and bringing all the subtlelties of their acoustic instruments to bear.
As can be heard on their debut CD Paris Blues, the trio’s repertoire ranges from a clutch of Django Reinhardt and Stéphane Grappelli-style swing classics, to soulful ballads and their own latin-infused compositions.
Alongside performances in the most prominent Viennese clubs (Porgy and Bess, Birdland, etc) the ensemble also played at prominent occasions such as the gala evening to celebrate the reopening of the Wiener Konzerthaus, 100 years of Wienstrom and many more.

Nicholas Geremus is not only the Viennese Symphony’s principal violinist but also a successful Jazz musician and composer.

Hans Zinkl, guitarist and pianist, has collaborated with almost all significant artists on the Austrian jazz scene.

Joachim Tinnefeld played in Berlin clubs before he as became the bassist in the Symphony orchestra.
